First Aid in Schools

At St John, we believe every child in Australia should have the opportunity to learn life-saving first aid skills and be prepared to help.

Our First Aid in Schools Program

First aid readiness can start in primary school through the use of fun, easy-to-understand, and highly applicable interventions that can be practiced at school and at home.

Launched in 2013, this initiative has already reached over 1.4 million children nationwide, and we’re just getting started. Our mission is to reach every school child and build a generation of confident first responders, ensuring no child is left without the knowledge of what to do in an emergency. This program is delivered free of charge to schools across Australia.
