FAQ

A nationally accredited course is recognised across Australia, delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), and meets industry and workplace compliance requirements. It gives you the skills, confidence, and a qualification that is widely accepted by employers and organisations.
Accredited courses are delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and meet national standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). The easiest way to check is to look for the Nationally RecognisedTraining (NRT) logo on the course information and on your Statement of Attainment. This confirms the training is nationally accredited and recognised across Australia.

St John is committed to supporting all learners and will do our best to meet individual needs. If you have a disability, medical condition, or other support requirements, please contact your local state or territory training team when booking. They will discuss what support or reasonable adjustments can be provided to help you participate in training.

Some courses include practical assessments—such as CPR—that have specific requirements set by national training standards. While reasonable adjustments can be made to support your learning, they cannot change the core assessment requirements. For example, HLTAID competency standards require a certain level of physical ability to demonstrate CPR and other emergency responses to ensure you can perform these skills in real-life situations.

If you are unable to complete all assessment tasks, you are still welcome to attend the course for learning purposes. In this case, a Statement of Attendance will be issued instead of a Statement of Attainment.
