Parliamentary Friends of St John Ambulance Australia
St John Ambulance Australia joins Co-Chairs Senator Andrew McLachlan CSC CStJ and Senator the Hon Carol Brown in convening a federal Parliamentary Friends group.
This multi-partisan group has been established to strengthen the profile and advocacy efforts of St John with government stakeholders.
The group provides a forum for members of Australian parliament from both the House of Representatives and Senate to meet and interact with St John leaders, members and volunteers.
The group is connected with St John advocacy efforts relating to: First Aid in Australia; Public Access Defibrillators; Disaster Resilience; St John in the Asia Pacific Region; Driver First Aid; and Volunteerism.
